Om Shanthi Paying Guest House - Varanasi

The guest house is conveniently located near Assi Ghat. The terrace garden offers amazing river views. The rooms are comfortable and well-maintained. The staff provides prompt and friendly service. The on-site restaurant adds convenience. Great accessibility to cafes, ghats, and markets. Safe for solo female travelers. The owner and staff are kind and cute.

Nothing it was perfect.

I was impressed by the hardworking and kind woman who runs the place, similar to what other guests have mentioned. The staff were also friendly and helpful, just like Nikhil who showed me around the local area. The location of the guest house, near Assi Ghat, was very convenient. I enjoyed taking a sunrise boat from there and witnessing the Aarti ceremony. The restaurant below the guest house served delicious food. I would highly recommend staying here.

We had a great stay here. The hotel is conveniently located, close to all main attractions of the city. Cleanliness is maintained properly. The hotel facilities are up-to-date, making the stay quite comfortable. The staff was friendly and easy to deal with. Transportation was easily accessible.

Local transportation was available 24/7. the breakfast served was good and we had the choice to dine in Itihaas restaurant within the same building. the room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable for women traveling alone.

The housekeeping services were not up to the mark, as the room was not cleaned throughout the stay and the sheets were not changed. the garbage was not cleared from the room.

Christmas at this hotel was a great experience! the rooms were very clean and comfy and the staff was awesome! Plus, the food was really good! We particularly enjoyed the Mediterranean combo platter and the affordable prices. the hotel is located in a key spot with easy access to nearby cafes, markets and attractions. Views from the beautiful terrace were amazing and added to our overall enjoyable stay.

The only downside to this hotel is that the rooms are on higher floors and there's no elevator. This could be a problem for some guests who have trouble with stairs.

Amazing staff who made me feel at home, providing excellent tips on what to do and arranging transfers for me. The location was super convenient, close to all the main attractions. The food at the restaurant was delicious and had a great atmosphere.

The rooms were located on the 3rd and 4th floors, which was a bit of a challenge without an elevator. the room was only cleaned once during my 7-day stay, and the sheets were not changed.
